MP Braces for Final Monsoon Fury
As the southwest monsoon begins its withdrawal from Madhya Pradesh, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a significant rainfall alert for the state. Contrary to expectations of dry weather, the departing monsoon is set to deliver a final bout of intense showers over the next 48 to 72 hours. The forecast predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall across several districts, with the Indore and Jabalpur divisions expected to be the most affected. Specific districts like Dhar, Barwani, Khandwa, Khargone, Burhanpur, Betul, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, and Balaghat are on high alert for potential downpours.
